A stunning new kitchen commission was born in a meeting finalising the purchase of FrancoCrea™’s Noa table.
The client, dissatisfied with traditional kitchen design companies, discovered that FrancoCrea™’s custom design service could provide them with the bespoke solution they were looking for. The residential dwelling being a Gentleman’s Bungalow, the client wanted a contemporary kitchen design that fitted beautifully within the style of the home.
The hot plate and cooking surface was purposely placed at the front of the kitchen so the owner can communicate with family and guests when cooking. The design utilises a modern built-in-extraction range hood, which eliminates need for a traditional bulky rangehood.
Multiple concepts were developed, including a stunning butler’s pantry, that unfortunately had to be ignored due to building construction constraints.
The use of white was purposely chosen to contrast to the beautiful dark floors. 100 year old Jarrah was selected to further connect the age and beauty of the home to the new, modern materials. Polished copper was then used to purposely highlight and accentuate the clean lines of the design.
