Sizing for dining chairs with arms
Armchairs take up more room along the table edge, and their arms need to clear the underside of the tabletop or apron to tuck in. Allow 680mm per armchair. Check that the arm height sits below the table's underside. The Mila dining armchair is sized to tuck fully under our Mila and Modesto tables.

Every FrancoCrea dining table is made to order and built by hand in Adelaide and Melbourne. Each carries a nameplate, its own identification number, and a certificate of authenticity. If your room calls for a length, width, or height outside this guide, we make it to suit. See commissions.
Frequently Asked Questions
Space needed depends on the width of the dining chair you choose. For our Mila armchair, allow 680mm minimum and for our Humilis dining chair and Mila dining chairs, allow 620mm minimum.
For a dining chair with arms, look for a minimum 2700mm long table. For a dining chair without arms, look for a minimum 2100mm long table.
At least 800mm from the edge of the table to the nearest wall. For areas that are a main walk way, allow at least 1000mm.
