Design Philosophy

A case of style emerging from comfort, Humilis is a thoughtful design. Initiated from a deliberate focus on shaping a comfortable solid wood chair, rejecting the notion solid wood chairs can’t be comfortable.

Fine-tuning exact angles and curves over three years of prototyping has perfected lower lumber support. This results in both a sculpturally striking design and a relaxing place to sit.
