For the love of luxury

We recently partnered with the fabulous ladies at Craig & Co for our client’s Sydney CBD project.

A wonderfully collaborative relationship ensued between client, furniture designer, and interior designer bringing to life our client’s vision.

Chatting through the aspirations for the apartment, we uncovered our clients love the special feeling of a city getaway pampered in a boutique luxury hotel. This quickly became the brief to set the tone of their beautiful new inner city apartment.

We knew maximising the apartment’s floor plan was key to meeting everyday needs while maintaining a spacious uncluttered atmosphere in the home. This is where our collaboration thrived with Craig & Co combining spatial ergonomics and furniture ergonomics together for a luxurious and catered-for feel.

Our Mena sofa and Mila console were selected for the living area.  The beautiful sculptural legs of the Mila console add a touch of interest to a sometimes utilitarian TV arrangement. While the Mena sofa elevated off the floor by its elegant solid wood arms creates a sense of spaciousness perfect for smaller apartment living.

The round pedestal base of our Giro table was a perfect fit for the dining area. It avoids busy table legs cluttering the space and allows a beautiful flow around its curved top in the dining area.  Working closely with Cassandra from Craig & Co, we were able to understand the limited circulation space around each piece and curate sizing to complement perfectly.

Our Mila chair was deliberately chosen for its minimalist open-back design. It perfectly enhances the visual illusion of more space and less clutter in the apartment, while also allowing the stunning dining table base to been see through the open chair backs.

Uncompromising in comfort, the Mila chair backrest is precisely angled to maximise lower back support, and the suspension web seat means additional comfort for dinner parties that go long into the night.

Our client’s love of green was a sophisticated touch layering to the overall tranquil yet opulent feel to their apartment. Collaborating with Craig & Co, the final palette of solid American walnut wood and sumptuous green velvet were curated to work seamlessly with the interior finishes.

We are thrilled with the results and wish our clients many years of enjoyment and relaxation in their stunning new home.
